CARTER EDMISTON, OWNER/FOUNDER, BOISE BIKE ACADEMY
The summer of 1992 was when that burnt orange Specialized mountain bike with the Judy fork became mine, and twenty-six years later the refrain ‘Oh, the places you’ll go!’ continues to be sung in my head.
Through those years I’ve had many great life experiences and been an instructor for multiple sports: Professional Ski Instructor, Whitewater kayak instructor and raft guide, Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard.
The one thing that has been a constant is my love for riding my bike.
As a PMBIA certified mountain bike instructor I am able to share my love for teaching and love for mountain biking with others. Perfect!
I've lived in the Boise area for 14 years with my wife and two boys and we
continue to enjoy all that our wonderful area has to offer.
As a current Registered Nurse (RN) I am honored to care for people but I also get to educate them about their health and well-being. For me mental and physical health is something I strive for and there’s no better place to find that than on my mountain bike. I hope you can find that peace also. Cheers!
